Giving Feedback Workshop

Feedback Skills – 1-Day Workshop

This 1-day interactive workshop focuses on how to give and receive feedback that improves performance, enhances relationships, and encourages growth.

Delivered by No I in Clare Ltd using professional actors, the session brings feedback conversations to life.

Through forum theatre, delegates will observe the difference between unhelpful and constructive feedback and explore how small changes in language, tone, and timing make a big impact.

The workshop introduces two key frameworks – the AID model, which helps get the message across clearly and quickly, and the BOOST model, which outlines five essential elements for effective feedback.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will understand how to use the AID model to give focused, direct feedback without delay.

They will explore the five elements of the BOOST model to ensure feedback is balanced and constructive.

They will learn techniques to manage their own emotional response when giving feedback, and to remain calm, clear, and objective if the other person becomes defensive or angry.

Through actor-led demonstrations, they will observe and analyse realistic feedback situations, and practice applying their skills to build confidence and impact.
